Cottage Whimsy - IOD Transfers on a Trinket Tray & Journal
Join me for this new workshop where I have combined two of your favorite projects in one workshop! I really love when I can create something that is both a lovely home decor piece and functional.
And I don't think I can have too many trays...and certainly not too many journals. How about you? And they make thoughtful handmade gifts too!
I invite you to join me for a fun and creative day painting and decorating (1) wood tray and the watercolor paper cover of your journal.
The samples in the workshop photo are examples of what you can create. I know that each of you will create your own unique art in this workshop.
We will be going back and forth between the two projects while each is drying to be ready for the next step.
After painting...and if you would like, crackling the paint finish...we will create a pretty, aged background on our journal cover piece.
Then the fun begins...choosing and creating with IOD transfers and a few stamps I have selected to add more details and background if you would like.
When you are finished, we will protect your tray with a few coats of varnish.
This will likely become one of my favorite workshops, and I’m looking forward to creating along side of you.
Each workshop session will be limited to (6) participants.
