HOW TO ADD CHALKY POWDER ADDITIVE TO OCC MILK PAINT OR LATEX PAINTS

I LOVE painting with Debi's DIY Paints and Olde Century Colors milk paints! Their unique formulas make them both awesome to paint with...and they come in lots of gorgeous, yummy colors! 

Sometimes, I need a paint color that is not available in either of these lines. Or I want to add a more chalky texture to one of my favorite Olde Century Colors milk paint colors. When I do, the recipe I follow can be downloaded here.

Last year, I was asked to be a guest on one of our local morning news channels, Fox 10 News, to share how a DIY'er can mix their own chalky paint. Here is the recipe I shared and mixed during the segment.
