In this workshop, you will create the “Farmhouse-style" layered paint finishes you see and love on Instagram and Pinterest!
You don't need to buy new furniture! Laura will show you how to renew and re-do your existing furniture easily and with confidence.
Everyone will paint on molding/wood pieces using both Debi's DIY chalk and clay based paints AND Olde Century Colors simulated milk paints. Layer paint colors, and then watch the transformation as you rub back the top layer to reveal the previous stained or painted layers. The beauty of Debi's chalk and clay paints is revealed in the layering, texturing and distressing. Pure awesomeness! These are both top notch paints and have their own nuances. Experience them for yourself and then choose the paint that best fits your painting project!
Finally, add depth and color by waxing your paint finishes with clear, and dark or white wax. We will also discuss waxing vs varnishing...when to use one or the other.
